"I could tell you anything, but I won’t. I’ve always considered myself pretty open, but I also know this: information is a prize. If you use it right, you can get anything. I guess that’s part of my problem. My old man always laughed when instead of playing football, I’d sit under the trees and read. “That ain’t right Lettie.” I’d creep and hide behind the kitchen island as they talked. “He should want to get into things, but instead he’s readin’ this.” He’d throw Bradbury onto the table with a scoff.
“It’s a phase.” Uncle would say when dear old dad harped. But did he stick ‘round to find out? Not a chance. He hopped the first train that crossed into town.
He was the one that taught me. That’s the only lesson I learned from him. Information and emotion get you everywhere, impulse is all it takes. That’s what makes me different I guess. Impulse has never taken me by the throat. I guess that would explain why Trace and I gelled.
There’s only one time I remember ever being gripped by that instinct, that urge to run. That was when the blue box came into Bellington."

She is trying to write a new story, and so we're trying to develop this character Jackson, so I did a little scribble sketch of him based on what she started on and I really love the way he came out <3
Pretty cute kid XD

So far, we got a kid thats a bit quirky and mysterious, not hated and shunned like a complete nerd, but definitively not in the in crowd, yet he still maintains a slightly cool mysterious air to him, despite being a bit weirder than most.
